I love Odeon Port Solent the staff are so friendly and helpful. The screens are clean and comfortable and the sound quality is spot on. Purchasing tickets is easy and the prices are great value. My only gripe would be the cost of the sweets but that’s Odeon not the individual cinema. I visit this cinema quite regularly and it’s always a good experience. Free parking too and you can pop to the marina for a meal and a drink afterwards perfect. Shame First bus can’t divert the x5 or x4 once an hour that would make it perfect and bring much more business in the holidays.

It's pretty average, no more. Concessions are standard prices, and screens are nothing special. Very basic seating, even those seats marked as premium. Toilets were a little dirty - cleaning not done much at peak times. Price is on the cheaper end, but you get what you pay for. Better options at Gunwharf or Southampton with a more premium feel and reclining seats, although price is inevitably higher. Port Solent has always had a nice feel, so at least you're close to reasonable amenities before and after the movie.

Drove nearly an hour with 3 kids to watch Toy Story on hottest day of the year to escape the heat, on sitting down we realised the air con was not on in the screen so I asked the staff member who said it was broken. No one had told us before we entered the screen, in this day and age surely they could have emailed us before as they said it had been broken all day. We lasted the trailers and 5 minutes of the screen before my kids couldn’t take anymore, my one year old had beads of sweat running down her face and was sick within 10 minutes of leaving the cinema no doubt due to heat. It was hotter in the cinema than it was outside, staff were unbothered offered a refund but it wasn’t about the money it was the whole experience - shocking from odeon. The cinema shouldn’t have been open it was so hot inside & definately above HSE recommended temperatures for staff let alone customers . Drive an hour home with 3 disappointed kids and a wasted afternoon.

All staff there are so friendly and helpful.... especially Charlie H! We booked 3 tickets but one of our group couldn't make it and he instantly arranged a refund for me. Thankyou 😀
