Cowford Oast is a converted oast house on the owner's grounds, surrounded by established gardens and set within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The single bedroom has a double bed; the bathroom includes a bath with shower over. Downstairs there is a kitchen with electric oven and hob, a living room with woodburner, TV and DVD player, and a utility room. A second living room upstairs has no television. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are provided, along with a welcome pack. There is a lawned garden with furniture and a barbecue, and parking for two cars on site. The property is not suitable for children or infants; smoking is not permitted.
