Beech Cottage

Beech Cottage opens into a single living space on the ground floor, where the kitchen, dining and sitting areas flow together. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—two electric ovens, hob, dishwasher and washing machine are all there. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms: one with a zip-and-link double (which can be split into two singles), the other with two single beds. The bathroom has a bath with shower over. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included.

Outside, the cottage has its own enclosed garden and patio area, plus parking for two cars on site. One dog is welcome. The property sits within a small estate in Nutley Edge, and guests have access to the surrounding 11 acres of woodland and fields to explore. Uckfield itself is about 15 minutes' drive away. Nearby are Ashdown Forest, Sheffield Park and Garden (National Trust), and various routes for walking and cycling through the countryside. Smoking is not permitted inside.
