Apple Tree Glamping

We spent the most amazing week here, the Pod was immaculate, very clean and well equipped. The Hot Tub is a fantastic addition to the decking outside and fantastic to sit in it under the stars. The surroundings are perfect to relax in and enjoy the peace and quiet. The wildlife will come right to your door with baby rabbits, birds and Moorhens to mention a few as well as the animals on site including 2 pigs, Fish pond, chickens and the biggest turkey you will ever see. The owners are really lovely and kind and helpful. Anything you need just ask. Matt is very friendly and can’t do enough to assist. We will most definitely be booking in the future. The location is perfectly situated and very private. There are pubs locally 5 mins walking and Wells is about a 10 minute drive I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed

Absolutely stunning and THE perfect countryside getaway! From relaxing in the cozy hot tub by the fire pit to watching ducks and chickens wander about, every moment was pure bliss. Polly and Molly’s friendly greetings made it even more special. Just a short drive from Wells, which looked straight out of a movie. Highly recommend!

Booked this as a last minute break before going home as we were in the area from another holiday. So glad we did as it was just what we needed. The instructions on how to get to the site were clear Matt greeted us when we arrived and was friendly and down to earth. The pod was nicely laid out and clean. The site has amazing views of the countryside and also has pigs geese and other animals for you to look at. The site was quite and the log burner hot tub was great to sit in and look at the stunning views. Ideal location for rest and relaxation. We loved it so much we have arranged to book it again both Matt and his wife Vicky were lovely. Thank you a amazing stay even though it was a short one. Location is ideally situated for Glastonbury Wells and other amazing areas of Somerset.Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Had dinner in the Burcott inn which was niçe you can walk to this. Looking forward to having our wedding anniversary there next year thank you Apple Tree Glamping. Just home from three nights in the lovely pods at Appletree Glamping. The pods are clean and spacious with everything you need for a few days away. Clothing hangers and hooks are provided along with an under drawer bed so there are places to unpack. Parking was super close to the pod so we found it better to leave our case in the car and just cycle a few items of clothes in and out each day. The pod is modern, with enough sockets to charge everything we wanted and more. The hosts were attentive to our needs (spare wood delivered in minutes & rescuing my partners AirPods that he managed to leave behind) but you also feel a real sense of privacy despite having neighbours. The grounds are beautiful, the animals are a great little perk and the eggs you can purchase from the onsite hens are absolutely splendid. We did purchase a couple boxes to bring home to family to say thank you for pet sitting and all have commented on the freshness and colour of the yolks. The birdsong first thing in the morning from the hot tub watching the sunrise is something not to be missed. Also would recommend a trip into wells for the market- we brought some incredible picnic snacks which were perfect for our hike. Cheddar gorge is about 40 mins away so we hit that for sunset and it’s an absolute must if you’re physically able. Fantastic location, superb team and beautiful accommodation. Now I just need an excuse to book a return trip! Thank you so much for such a wonderful break.
