Little gem, dog friendly only 10 minutes walk into the town centre and Cathedral. Really enjoyed our short break. We are going back next year and hopefully our best friend will have the other garden suite. We'll recommend.

Lovely overnight stay in self contained room in annexe. Easy walk into Wells. Sleep slightly disturbed by fridge switching on and off. All very clean with nice contemporary decor. Look forward to staying at Ashford House again.

Fabulous self-contained place, with everything you need, and with garden space if you want. We only stayed overnight, but it was absolutely perfect for us, and having breakfast already left in our room, before we'd arrived, meant not being tied to getting up by a certain time to be in a certain place, other than having to leave by 10:30. Will more than likely go back again when we're next visiting the area. Friendly hostess as well made the whole stay rather pleasant. RECOMMENDED !

I recently stayed at Ashford House. Jayne the proprietor could not have been more welcoming. A lovely room, excellent breakfast and a patio set in a beautiful garden. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble in this beautiful setting. Highly recommended and well worth 5 stars.
