Ilsley Farm Barns - 1 The Pheasant

The Pheasant is a converted barn on a working farm in West Berkshire, arranged entirely on the ground floor. Everything opens onto everything else—the living space flows into the kitchen, which has an electric cooker, dishwasher, American fridge freezer and coffee machine; the bedrooms are separate rooms, each with a king bed and ensuite shower. Both ensuites have heated towel rails. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. There's underfloor heating throughout.

Outside, a south-facing patio has garden furniture, a pizza oven and BBQ. The farm is sheep country, so dogs are welcome but must stay on a lead. One car park space is provided on site; there is space for two vehicles. The property is non-smoking. A travel cot and highchair are available if you ask when booking.

This is a whole property to yourself, sleeping up to four people. The nearest substantial towns are Newbury and Reading; the Berkshire countryside around the farm is open and agricultural.
