Ilsley Farm Barns- The Partridge

The Partridge is a restored barn conversion on a working farm in West Berkshire. The building retains the character of its agricultural past—exposed beams and stone walls remain, though the interior has been thoroughly modernised. Everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan living and dining space flows through to a kitchen with induction hob, dishwasher and breakfast bar. A patio with pizza oven sits outside.

Six bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and walk-in shower, means everyone gets privacy. Beds range from super-kingsize down to kingsize, and some can be configured as twin singles on request. The space comfortably sleeps 12. One dog stays free. Heating is underfloor, powered by an air-source system, and wi-fi covers the property. Bed linen and towels are provided. There is parking for six cars on site. The property is non-smoking throughout.

This works well for large groups—extended family, friends gathering for a milestone, or a multi-generational holiday. The location is rural, on an arable farm, though the county is close enough to Winchester, Reading and the Cotswolds for day trips if needed.
