Kernow Retreats - Mimi’s Meadow

Mimi's Meadow is a single shepherd hut set within its own corner of field near Tavistock, offering complete privacy for two guests. The hut sits on ground level, with an open-plan living space that combines a sitting area (no television), dining zone, and kitchen in one flowing room. A wood burner provides warmth alongside electric central heating. The bedroom holds a kingsize bed, and there is a shower room with a cubicle shower.

Outside, the property's real draw is the wood-fired hot tub, built for two and positioned to take in views across farmland and towards the Dartmoor ponies in a neighbouring paddock. A firepit that doubles as a barbecue sits in the garden, with seating areas for watching sunsets or, after dark, the stars. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, and essentials including bed linen, towels, heating and wifi are provided. There is private parking for two cars on site.
