Sage
West Devon
Sage is a single-bedroom cottage on the Devon and Cornwall border, surrounded by fields and woodland. Everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan living space with a dining area and kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, and an ensuite shower room. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and wine cooler, so you can cook proper meals or keep things simple. A front garden with seating looks out over the countryside. Electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are all included, and there is parking for two cars on site.
The location sits between several worthwhile areas. Dartmoor National Park is within 45 minutes' drive—open moorland good for walking and cycling. South toward the coast, the Tamar Valley is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beautiful with traces of its tin and copper mining past scattered through the landscape. The beaches and small harbour villages of south Devon are roughly 25 miles away. Plymouth, with its naval heritage and range of shops and restaurants, is 18 miles north. The Eden Project, Heligan Gardens, Cothele House and other National Trust properties are all within an hour's drive. The nearest pub is a mile away. The property is non-smoking and does not accommodate children.
