Tarragon
West Devon
Tarragon is a single-storey cottage where everything unfolds on one level. You walk into an open-plan living space that combines sitting room, dining area and kitchen in one flowing room, with a bedroom and ensuite off to the side. The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking—electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer—and there's a wine cooler and washer-dryer too. A double bed (4ft 6in) sits in the bedroom, served by a walk-in shower and toilet in the ensuite. The sitting room has Freeview TV. Outside, a front garden with seating and furniture overlooks the grounds; parking for one car is on site.
The cottage sits within 81 acres of fields and woodland in a quiet corner of West Devon, on the Devon and Cornwall border near the Tamar Valley. A pub is within a mile's walk. The location suits couples looking to slow down and explore the area—Dartmoor National Park is within 45 minutes' drive, the coast is roughly 25 miles away, and the Rame Head Heritage Coast, with its clifftop views and small villages, is readily accessible. Plymouth is 18 miles distant. Heligan, Cothele House, Castle Drago and the Eden Project are all reachable as day trips. Children under 12 are not accommodated. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; no smoking inside.
