Lincoln's cathedral and castle are close enough for a day trip, while the Lincolnshire Wolds—dotted with country pubs and quiet villages like Louth—lie just a short drive away. Skegness beach is under an hour's drive, and the property sits on the Viking Way cycle route if you fancy exploring by bike. A shop, pub and restaurant are half a mile away. Bailey's Retreat is a single-storey detached cottage in Bardney, on the village outskirts, sleeping 6 across three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The whole property is yours alone. All rooms are on the ground floor: a living room with TV and DVD player, a kitchen with electric oven, gas hob and dishwasher opening onto a patio, and three bedrooms—two with king beds and one with two singles. One bedroom has an ensuite with shower; the main bathroom has a bath and shower over. Essentials like bed linen, towels, heating, electricity and wifi are included. The enclosed garden has furniture, a barbecue, and a private hot tub for six, available between 10am and 10.30pm. There's parking for three cars and a bike store. The property does not permit smoking.
