Hill Crest Lodge 1 is a single-storey property on the edge of Hemswell, where you get the whole place to yourself. It sleeps four across two bedrooms—one double and two singles—with a bathroom combining bath and shower. Everything happens on ground level, which suits anyone preferring to avoid stairs. The open-plan living and dining space has French doors onto decking, while the kitchen comes equipped for proper cooking rather than holiday shortcuts.
Outside, the enclosed garden includes a private hot tub for four, patio seating and parking for two cars. Inside, wi-fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. Gainsborough itself is a mile away, with its shops and pubs, while Lincoln's cathedral and castle walls stand 14 miles south. The Lincolnshire Wolds and Market Rasen races are about 20 minutes' drive, and Hemswell's antique dealers are nearby. The lodge doesn't permit smoking.

We have had a long wkend away with friends, the place its self is nice, hot tub lovely, but myself & friends stayed in the caravan which were way too hot, the mattress were boney, sqeeky floors, FILLED WITH FLIES. 2x cans fly spay. Not very much to clean up with. Crumbs do end up on floor with only a hand brush & pan. After spraying the files all wkend they were laying around. Spoiled it a little. We would come again if it were more equipped with fly strips, larger dust pan & brush. Carpet sweeper. Simple things in life

Absolutely lovely stay. Brian the owner is such a helpful and friendly guy. The lodge itself was spacious, nicely decorated and immaculately clean. You could tell Brian had included everything that he could think of that you could possibly need. Lovely touch including breakfast bits sausages, bacon, eggs, fresh orange. We’ve stayed at lots of different lodges/caravans/pods etc over the years and nobody else has ever done that! Beautiful views from the hot tub. Would 100% recommend :)

Stayed here twice now. Sept 2024 and May 2026. (Lodge 2). What an amazing stay and an amazing host (Brian Everatt). Can't wait to come back next year.

Arrived to a really lovely view, a very clean and spacious cabin, hot tub up to heat. The host came to greet us and was really lovely, couldnt have been more welcoming and helpful 😊 also have lkvely locally sourced breakfast items stocked up. We had a really nice relaxing weekend, we will definitely go back again. Highly highly recommend 👌
