Carribber Beech sits within 13 acres of grounds that slope down to Carribber Loch, sharing the woodland setting with the owner's home and a working trout fishery. The village of Linlithgow lies 3 miles away; Edinburgh is reachable by train in 25 minutes, and the Trossachs and Loch Lomond are within easy reach for a day out. Nearby attractions include Linlithgow Palace and Hopetoun House if you want structured visiting, or the Kelpies and Falkirk Wheel if you prefer to stay local.
The cottage has three double or single bedrooms and three bathrooms spread across two floors. Ground level holds the main living space—open-plan with kitchen, dining and sitting areas that open onto a patio—plus one bedroom and shower room. Upstairs, two further bedrooms (one double with ensuite, one with two singles) share a bathroom with a bath and shower. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering; essentials like heating, electricity, linen and towels are covered. Wi-Fi is included. You have private parking for three cars, a bike store and use of the shared hot tub. Fishing can be arranged on-site. The grounds are unfenced in places, including an open lake 10 yards from the cottage. No smoking inside.
One well-behaved dog is welcome. The property sleeps six and is yours alone for the duration of your stay.

Were just travelling home from 2 weeks in Carribber cottages. We've had a fantastic time. Linlithgow is a fantastic little town with everything you need. 18 minutes on the train to Edinburgh, trains running very frequently. The cottages itself is warm, spacious, clean with exceptional facilities. Jim and his wife were great hosts, can't wait to return!
