The property sits on a five-acre private estate among other holiday cottages, set back from everyday traffic.

Inside, you get a bright open-plan living and dining space with artwork and period pieces, two bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom, and parking on site. The essentials are covered—electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. There's a garden to use, and a cot and highchair are available if needed. No smoking indoors.

The setup works well for families or groups of friends wanting a self-catering base. Arrival is after 4pm and departure by 10am.
