The property spreads across three floors with four bedrooms and two bathrooms, giving space for families or friends to spread out. Ground floor holds the living room with an open fireplace and a kitchen/dining room where you can cook; there's a utility room tucked away with a washer, dryer and freezer. Upstairs are three further bedrooms and a shower room. The back garden is enclosed and furnished, a private space for sitting outside. One car can park on permit, and bikes can be stored. Essentials including heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are covered, along with wifi. One pet is welcome; the fireplace even has space in front of it.

Walking starts from your door—Loughrigg Fell is the closest, with Fairfield and the wider range beyond it. Waterhead, where you can catch the lake steamers or rent boats, is within reach on foot. The village itself has everything from independent shops to restaurant terraces.
