Kendal is a working market town at the edge of the Lake District, with independent shops, restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Autumn Cottage sits on the edge of the town centre itself, within a mile of the Peppercorn Car Park locality. It's a converted barn on a small complex, presented as a complete property to yourselves—not shared accommodation. One dog stays free. There is parking for three cars on site and a bike store.
The ground floor is an open-plan living and dining space with a woodburner, smart TV and double doors opening to a courtyard. The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, with electric cooking, dishwasher, and everything else needed to prepare meals. There's a separate toilet. Upstairs are four bedrooms: two with kingsize beds and en-suite showers, one double, and one with two singles. A family bathroom with bath and shower serves the other two bedrooms. Bed linen, towels, heating, electricity and Wi-Fi are included; bring your own dog or hire a travel cot and highchair if needed.
The town makes a useful touring base for the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, reachable by car within 20 minutes or so. Kirkby Lonsdale and its views are nearby. The cottage does not allow smoking.
