Barrow-in-Furness sits on the Furness Peninsula, with the Lake District within reach and the Irish Sea nearby. The Piggery is one of three converted barns on a shared site, a self-contained home for four guests with its own parking and access to a courtyard garden and BBQ. Ground floor has an open-plan living space with a 45" Smart TV and dining area, plus a kitchen fitted with electric cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. The first bedroom, on the ground floor, has two single beds and an en-suite with walk-in shower and grab rails; the second bedroom upstairs is a kingsize with an en-suite bathroom offering both bath and shower. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi come as standard, and the essentials are covered—heating and electricity included. One well-behaved dog is welcome to stay.
The layout suits families or friends looking for a straightforward base to explore the area. A pub sits within a mile. There are two steps in the grounds, and the ground-floor bedroom and en-suite are designed with accessible use in mind. Note: no smoking is permitted. Check-in is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00.
