Biskey Howe Cottage

Bowness is the gateway to Lake Windermere, with independent shops, cafés and restaurants lining the streets, and the water itself a few minutes' walk away. Biskey Howe Cottage sits in this busy village centre, putting all of that on your doorstep. A pub is within a mile, and the wider Lake District is easily reached by car.

The cottage spreads across three floors. Downstairs is an open-plan living, dining and kitchen space with a television and DVD player; the kitchen has everything needed to cook properly—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer. The lower ground floor holds two bedrooms (one double, one with two singles) and a bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. Upstairs, a galleried double bedroom with its own ensuite completes the accommodation for six people. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are provided, and there's a washing machine and tumble dryer downstairs. Gas central heating runs throughout, with underfloor heating on the ground floor. Parking for one medium-sized car is on site.

The cottage is non-smoking. A cot and highchair are available on request.
