Ellerton Croft

Ellerton Croft is a four-bedroom house on a working farm in the Cumbrian countryside near Carlisle. The ground floor opens into a living room with woodburner and patio doors to the garden, a separate sitting room with Smart TV, and a kitchen/dining space fitted with electric oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a shower room. Upstairs are four bedrooms: two with king-size beds (one with ensuite shower), one with a zip-and-link double that can be two singles, and one with two single beds. A family bathroom has a bath with shower over. The house sleeps 8 and one dog stays free.

Outside is a lawned garden with sitting area and furniture, plus a hot tub for eight. On-site parking fits four cars. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included, and the woodburner's initial fuel is provided. A travel cot and highchair are available. The Lake District National Park, Eden Valley and Hadrian's Wall are all within reach; Carlisle and Penrith are nearby for shopping and eating out. No smoking indoors.
