What guests say
Ideal location for half way stop driving between northern Scotland and south of England. Premier Inn reliable for bedrooms, clean and comfy beds. I've stayed here many times in the last 5 years and use it for the attached Beefeater restaurant. My main issue is the decline in the quality of the food, premier inn breakfast is still fine but the evening meals the last couple of times (Feb 26 and July 26) have been mediocre at best. Staff are lovely, just a shame that the food has gone downhill. I may have to source a take away in my roon next time rather than paying for an evening meal.

We had a great one-night stay at Premier Inn. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and well-equipped with comfortable beds, extra pillows, and towels. The bathroom was spotless, and overall facilities were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Even though we arrived a bit late for breakfast, the spread was still good. The soft-boiled eggs were perfectly done—something that’s often hard to get right! We visited during the Easter break, and it was lovely to see activities for kids, like painting, which kept them engaged. There was plenty of parking available, and it was free, which was a big plus. Overall, a very comfortable stay—would highly recommend 👍

Good value for money Pros: Nice, spacious, clean, typical premier inn rooms. The bed was as comfortable as always. Good location, just off of junction 42. One can easily get into carlisle from the hotel. Cons: No air-conditioning. This isn't a problem on most days but if you go on a hot day, like I did, it is uncomfortable. I had sweat going into my eyes and stinging it.

Great location just off the motorway but so quiet. Hotel was all you expect from premier inn, however there are stairs to climb so if you have any issues with carrying cases best ask for a ground floor room. Beefeater restaurant is really tasty food and not too expensive and the breakfast was fantastic. I will defo be using this as my half way stops back and forth from England
