A lovely quiet caravan and lodge park that is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Easy to get too straight off the A6, close enough to Carlise or Penrith for shopping and some lovely local pubs for food a drink. Perfect!

The site itself is immaculate, with some of the caravans there are fantastic views of fields and hills. Unfortunately the caravan we had wasn't very clean, particularly the kitchen area. The cooking utensils next to the cooker were greasy, grill pan rack was greasy, the cooker pan stands were greasy and the pans all had cooking rings in them and the drawer they were in had grease drips. So I had to clean everything except the pan stands on the cooker top. I drew a line at that. To top it off, the cooker doesn't work properly, I had food in there 3hrs and it hadn't cooked through. So, the site was lovely, but number 12 I wouldn't recommend.
