Kendal and Lake Windermere lie within easy driving distance, giving you quick access to the Lake District National Park. Head north instead and you'll reach Hadrian's Wall and its Roman sites; south takes you to the Westmorland Dales. Closer by, Kirkby Lonsdale, Arnside and Morecambe Bay are all worth a visit, and the beach at Morecambe is nine and a half miles away.

Farleton View is a detached property sleeping six across three bedrooms—one kingsize on the first floor, a second kingsize, and a double. Downstairs holds a boot room useful for muddy kit, plus a living room and kitchen/dining space on the upper storey, both overlooking the garden and surrounding countryside towards Farleton Fell. The single bathroom has a bath and shower cubicle. The woodburner in the living room is set up for use, and central heating covers the colder months. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are provided, along with parking for one car on site.

A small lawned garden with patio and furniture surrounds the property, which has a bike store. The garden contains a fenced pond. Smoking is not permitted. One well-behaved pet stays free. A shop is a mile and a quarter away, a pub one and a half miles, and restaurants two miles distant.
