Meadowcroft No 4 occupies the entire first floor of a converted 1908 country house. You arrive into a generous living and dining space where you can settle in with the 56-inch television, then move through to a well-equipped kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and washing machine. A second sitting room with DVD player offers a quieter retreat. Three bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom, sleep six people. The master has a kingsize bed; the other two are doubles. A separate toilet serves the apartment as well.
Outside, two acres of mature grounds surround the property—landscaped lawns, trees and shruberies, with a shared all-weather tennis court and patio furniture. Your own enclosed garden gives privacy, and there is parking for one car on site with visitor spaces available. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. No smoking inside.
Bowness-on-Windermere sits five minutes' drive away, with its harbour promenade, shops, cafes, restaurants and the Beatrix Potter Centre. The grounds themselves are substantial enough for a proper walk, populated by birds, rabbits and occasional deer.
