Oaklea Cottage

Windermere and Bowness are within walking distance of Oaklea Cottage, putting you close to the lake itself and the town's shops, cafes and attractions. The cottage sits as a whole property to yourself, with three bedrooms sleeping up to five guests and a bathroom with bath and shower. One well-behaved pet stays free.

Downstairs, the living and dining room has a smart TV and electric fire. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washing machine. Three bedrooms occupy the first floor: a double bed (4ft 6in), two single beds (3ft), and a further single (3ft). Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. You have parking for one car on site. The cottage does not permit smoking.

From here, you can walk to Bowness or explore the South Lakes area on foot or by car. The Lake District National Park is nearby for fell walking, and Windermere itself offers cruises and water-based activities. Ambleside and other villages are close by. Whether you come for outdoor pursuits or simply to be near the water, the location gives you access to both without leaving the countryside feel behind.
