Rustic Cottage

You enter Rustic Cottage into a living room with wood burner, French doors opening onto an enclosed garden, and Freeview television. The dining room connects to a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, microwave, and all the usual appliances—while a washing machine handles laundry. Upstairs are two bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with a three-quarter double) and a bathroom with bath and shower.

The cottage sleeps four and comes with bed linen, towels, heating, hot water and Wi-Fi included; initial logs for the burner are provided too. Private parking for one car sits on site, and the enclosed garden has patio furniture for outdoor time. The village of Bowness-on-Windermere surrounds you—shops, pubs and restaurants are two hundred yards away, and Lake Windermere itself is within walking distance. The area suits families and active visitors: water sports, sailing, steamship trips and rowing boats operate from the lake; walking and climbing routes are plentiful. The National Park Visitor Centre at Brockhole and the Aquarium of the Lakes are nearby attractions. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking inside the property.
