Shepherd’s Rest

Shepherd's Rest is fully equipped for self-catering stays. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher, making it straightforward to prepare meals. A washer-dryer is tucked under the stairs. The sitting room centres on a smart TV with views towards the fells, and a wood-burning stove provides warmth. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms serve five guests; the master has a king bed and en-suite shower room, while a second shower room serves the rest of the house. Wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included.

The cottage stands near Spring Howe, within a mile of the coast. Kendal itself offers shops and restaurants, while the Lake District's walking trails and outdoor pursuits are on the doorstep—Windermere is four miles away. The location works equally well for active exploring or quieter time indoors. No smoking is permitted. Check-in is after 15:00; departure before 10:00.
