Staveley House Apartment
Westmorland and Furness
View on Google MapsStaveley sits at the foot of Kentmere Valley, surrounded by walking and cycling routes of varying difficulty. The village itself has genuine appeal beyond typical tourist fare: three pubs serving food, a micro-brewery with a tasting room, an artisan bakery, cycle hire and a cookery school. The Dalesway passes through, and countless trails branch off into the fells. Kendal and Windermere are both close by.
Staveley House Apartment occupies the first floor of a substantial property, with its own entrance and a private rear patio. Inside are a double bedroom, bathroom with shower over the bath, kitchen with electric cooker and dishwasher, and a comfortable living room opening onto a small balcony. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. The utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer. One well-behaved pet stays free.
This is a proper base for exploring the area rather than a night's stopover. The accommodation suits two people, or a couple with a young child (a cot and highchair are available). Smoking is not permitted indoors.
