Sunny Beck dates to the 1700s and began its life as part of the local sawmill. The semi-detached stone cottage sits in Low Nibthwaite with half an acre of mature gardens around it, bounded by the River Crake a hundred yards away. Three bedrooms and one bathroom across two floors make it suitable for a small family or group of friends; the ground floor has a living room with an open fire and a combined kitchen-dining space, while upstairs holds a double and two single beds split across the three rooms. One well-behaved dog stays free.
The kitchen comes equipped for proper cooking—oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine—and there is wifi throughout. Essentials like bed linen, towels and electricity are included. Outside, a large lawn and sitting-out area sit alongside private parking for two cars and a garage-barn for storing bikes and boats. The garden benefits from private fishing rights along the boundary, and stepping outside puts you within reach of walking and mountain biking around Coniston Water and the surrounding fells. A pub and restaurant lie roughly a mile away, while the Lake District National Park and Cumbrian coast are both accessible for day trips. No smoking in the property.
