The Copper Loft

The Copper Loft is a first-floor apartment in Windermere, built from converted period stonework. It comprises one bedroom, one bathroom, and an open-plan living area across one floor, accommodating up to two guests as the sole occupants. The bedroom has a king bed; the ensuite contains a shower and toilet. Downstairs, the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and microwave—with a dining area and sitting room adjoining. A Smart TV, Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. No smoking inside.

Windermere sits at the northern tip of England's largest lake, ringed by steep fells and dotted with launch points for cruises and boat hire. The town centre clusters around the landing stages and promenade, where cafés, restaurants and shops line the streets. Ambleside lies about three miles north; Bowness-on-Windermere, with its amusement attractions, is slightly closer. The Copper Loft places you within reach of all three, and a pub stands just under a mile away. From here, circular walks head up to Orrest Head or across the lower slopes, while longer days out reach Tarn Hows or Loughrigg Fell.
