Above Cott

Above Cott is a self-contained flat on the first floor of a building in the heart of Windermere town centre. You have the entire property to yourself, with three bedrooms sleeping six: two doubles (one with its own ensuite) and a third room with two singles. There are two bathrooms in total. The open-plan living space includes a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, a dining area, and a sitting room with a TV and DVD player. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included; heating is provided by electric central heating. No smoking is permitted throughout.

The location puts independent shops, cafes and restaurants within reach on foot. Bowness and Lake Windermere are a short distance away, making this a practical base for exploring the lakes and fells. Walkers and cyclists will find themselves well placed, with routes north to Ambleside, east to Kendal, and south towards the Lyth Valley all accessible. A parking permit for nearby car parks comes with your stay. Note that there are 16 steps up to the entrance.
