About The Sandringham Hotel
Victoria Square sits close to the seafront in Weston-super-Mare, within easy reach of the Grand Pier, and The Sandringham Hotel makes the most of that position with rooms looking out over the sea and pier. It's a straightforward, unfussy hotel rather than a luxury stopover, but the setting does a lot of the work.
Rooms are modest but come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks available in room, and free WiFi throughout, with a lift making access easy across floors. Downstairs there's a restaurant and a lounge bar for evening drinks, plus breakfast served on site to set guests up for the day.
Beyond the hotel, the surrounding area offers walking and cycling routes, watersports, fishing and a golf course nearby, along with pubs, restaurants and entertainment within easy reach. It suits guests after a simple, well-placed base near the water rather than an especially polished stay.
What guests say
Having just returned back home from The Sandringham Hotel, Western Super Mare I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the excellant service that I received from The Manager - Linda and her colleagues Rachel and Jack as well as all the hotel staff in each department. My requests were completely met with no fuss and with a smile. Many rooms have recently been refurbished and look very nice as well as being very comfortable. Every day tea/coffee etc was replenished and any other requirements was dealt with promptly. The location is great being opposite the promenade, sea, Grand Pier and the shopping mall with overnight psrking. I travelled with Daish Holidays but you can book independantly as well. I will definately be recommending this Hotel to all my friends and family. Well Done and Thank you.

Nice rooms, newly refurbished I think. The main complaint is their "policy" of handing your room key to the front desk when leaving the property during your stay... Not acceptable, so obviously me and everyone else that I spoke to ignored this unreasonable request. I understand that the security after 11pm is very intrusive as well. Freedom to come and go at any time without needing contact with hotel staff is absolutely essential for any hotel... So a big failure here, and hence I will never return.

Alison and Linda. Wow what a wonderful welcome from you both. Amazing rooms. Amazing food. Amazing service too. A huge thank you too the waiting on staff. They work so so hard and they are a pleasure to know. From the bottom of my heart ❤️ thank you. I hope to return to your hotel very soon. Dave & Mark. XxxX

Were are here right now with our dog Vincent. The hotel is lovely. Its a one minute walk to the beach which is dog friendly. The bed is super comfy. The owners Scott, Judith and Bazil are amazing. They are so accommodating and friendly. My dog and their dog Bazil have said hello. Just can't fault anything. We had an issue the our room key this morning. It was sorted with in an hour and a new lock was fitted. We came back to the room this afternoon to find a box of fudge and a box of shortbread for the inconvenience. That sums up Scott and Judith. They're just a lovely couple. The breakfast was lovely too. They even gave us a doggy bag breakfast for Vincent. We'll definitely be coming back again. This will become an annual doggy holiday from now on. Vincent said the sausage was delicious.
