About The Sunfold

A Victorian townhouse on Beach Road forms the setting for The Sunfold, an 8-room guest accommodation facing the sea in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset. The building's period character is paired with straightforward, comfortable rooms rather than anything grand, and several look out over the water or across the town.

Each room comes with an en-suite bathroom and drinks available in-room, with family rooms on offer for those travelling with children. Guests can start the day with a cooked breakfast and unwind later at the on-site bar or restaurant, with a garden and outdoor seating for warmer weather. Free WiFi, 24-hour reception, luggage storage and a kitchen are all available, and there's free on-site parking along with an electric vehicle charge point.

The seafront location puts golf, fishing and watersports within easy reach, alongside nearby pubs, restaurants and entertainment for evenings out. It's a no-frills base for exploring Weston-super-Mare, built around a straightforward stay rather than added extras.

I can't comment on the rooms because I didn't stay. Instead, I attended one of their regular musical events. This was held in the basement bar which provided an intimate setting for an engaging evening of music. The bar sold an excellent selection of ales, albeit in cans, served by a welcoming and friendly host. The hotel is sitated alongside the beach road, providing easy access to the beach and local amenities.

Lovely place, lovely welcome Steve was brilliant. Only downfall was the noise from 11:30pm all the way until 10am the next morning upstairs walking around then the tv, I've been woken up constantly every hour, the only way we would come back is if we was on the top floor, maybe sound proof boards on the floors would be a good option. Other wise everything's great 🫶

We had a wonderful stay. Though only downside was, there was a family upstairs from us with a child and we got constant thumping noises from the child jumping up and down on the floor and hearing the parents who are heavy footed walking around the room constantly. It was very loud. Other than that, I can't fault the Sunfold Hotel
