Excellent. If travelling without a car you can get there!! and the walk into the village from the nearest bus stop is a delight. Keep the luggage down though!! Ellie's instructions will get you to Blue Shutters once in the village. Just 2 points to make...'Silver St' is actually an ancient paved footpath beside the chalk stream and the redbrick mill is probably the tallest building in the village...there's your landmark. The cut through to Blue Shutters, actually on 'Silver St' is here, just before the mill on the left on the road to the Springhead pub. Both the accomodation and the village are outstanding. Beautiful walking in the hills, ancient hill forts, burial mounds and the Osmington White Horse to be appreciated ...and a hot tub back at the accomodation for aching legs. The whole experience was great value for money.

We have just spent 2 nights at this property. Everything was superb from the hosts , bedroom , breakfast , location and especially the lovely jacuzzi . Thank you very much .
