Eweleaze Farm

Fantastic. Camped as two families of four, with children between 3 and 8 in age over August bank holiday. It is busy, but we were able to find a roomy plot in the very top left of the site (NW) in Corner Field. The ground was on a hill, but this didn't matter too much. It was a good choice as Corner field has flushing loos. Showers were clean, powerful and warm - just avoid at the obvious times and no queues. From Corner Field it was a short walk to the centre with food and activities, and a little bit further to the beach, but we enjoyed the walk. The beach was fun, but beware for little ones it is not a safe swimming or paddling beach without hands-on supervision as there are steep drop-aways under the surf - but it was great fun splashing about in some powerful waves. Overall the campsite is well maintained, clean, with plenty of options for activities and food. The shop is amazing and reasonably priced, and stocks everything you could hope for. If we went again we might try and get into top field or one of the other ones with a sea view, although it seemed windier. From Corner field you can climb a little way inland up the hill and get brilliant views to Weymouth and Portland as pictured. A great three-night stay, and we'd certainly return.

Absolutely brilliant camp site. This is our 9th year going and it gets better every year! Staff are all so hard working, friendly and polite. The courtyard where the bakery, patisserie, pizza van, veg box, BBQ, and seafood van is great plus the shop where you can get pretty much everything you need from food to camping essentials. There is so much to keep the kids entertained too which is pretty much all free! 2 beaches in walking distance (one with arcades and fun fair) and beautiful coastal walks right from the camp site. Thank you for another brilliant year Eweleaze!

This is the best campsite I have been to! It's like a mini festival, with loads of food options and stuff for kids to do. The beach is lovely, just a short walk away. The showers are great. There are some flushable toilets which are really clean and the compost ones aren't that bad, clean but just a bit smelly in the hot weather, as you'd expect. We will be going back again next year!

Amazing campsite, really well set up. Very chilled. Showers are amazing. Just don't go at obvious times. My kids loved the Turkish Bath. I'd recommend going later in the evening if you want a chilled session. My wife loved the yoga. Liked the shop in a barn. The food court was good although we only ate ice cream!! Set up camp where you choose or can. Lots of hot water pot washing setups, plenty of waste facilities (could do with working on the segregation of waste for recycling). The only negative was the stony beach. The sea was lovely. I'd highly recommend sea shoes or wetsuit boots.
