Have used this campsite for around 6 years. The owners/family are such lovely people. Toilets/showers very clean and serviced several times a day. Despite the site simplicity it's perfect. Stunning views. Huge space and never overcrowded. Perfect for kids to run around and let the adults relax. (Please ensure your kids are respectful of property and amenities). Fire pits and logs available at the reception. Freezers for your ice blocks also. Price per night is very reasonable. Getting there by foot will be easy if your a pro hiker but car required otherwise(those hills🙈). See you again this summer 😁.

We had an amazing weekend at Whitehorse campsite with the family. The grounds are gorgeous and so spacious, with lovely flat pitches that made setting up easy. The toilet facilities were spotless and the showers were beautifully warm – such a bonus! The sunsets from the campsite were beautiful, with gorgeous views all around. There are lovely walks up to the White Horse and down to the local pub by the willow trees, and a handy corner shop is just a walk or quick drive away. A great campsite – we’d really recommend it and can’t wait to return!

Lovely site. Old school pitches (no pre designated pitches) its great for a large group. Super quiet and peaceful with lovely views. Toilets looked basic but were a lot better than expected. Definitely will return. Allowed off the ground fires which gave a great atmosphere in the evening.

Amazing campsite, would highly recommended!! Had a gorgeous bank holiday weekend here with the family! The campsite is amazing with gorgeous views and great walks. Despite it being the holidays our pitch was spread out and the facilities were great and spotlessly clean and well stocked. You can also buy their wood to have a fire!
