About The Fairhaven Hotel
Breakfast at The Fairhaven Hotel is one of the things guests come back for, offering solid value before a day out along Weymouth's seafront. There's also a bar on site for a drink after exploring, along with 24 hour reception and free WiFi throughout the building.
The hotel sits on the Esplanade itself, so many rooms come with sea views, and a number have been refurbished with comfortable beds and en-suite bathrooms. Drinks can be brought straight to your room. That said, some rooms are in need of further updating and soundproofing between them is limited, so light sleepers should bear this in mind.
Beyond the hotel, the seafront location puts golf, fishing, watersports, cycling and walking routes all within easy reach, and there are pubs, bars and restaurants nearby for evenings out. It's a straightforward base for a coastal break in Dorset, with the beach and Weymouth's attractions right on the doorstep.
What guests say
Beautiful hotel, the room was amazingly clean and stocked with coffee, tea, water. Receptionist extremely friendly. It was busy bar on Tuesday because they have local artists performing on that day. Live music, beautiful atmosphere, seaside. I really enjoyed it!

Iv just finished a two night stay at Fairhaven hotel and we didnt have a great stay. I would like to start however to say the staff were lovely especially Josh who was polite and helpful. What is important for people to know is that parking is a NIGHTMARE, the hotel doesnt have a car park which means you have to pay to park in the sea front and take a chance at finding one which means you habe to walk a long way, its horribly expensive, overnight rate in £7.50 which runs out at 8am do you can't get a lie in at all as I had to leave the hotel at 7.50am to go pay again which can only be done a hour at a time all day, luckily we were away from the beach during the day but if your planning to stay at beach this will be very expensive. The hotel room wasnt good at all, we had broken curtains, a window in the bathroom that didnt shut properly and the bathroom door doesn't fit the frame so couldn't shut. There is no sound proofing at all so you could hear everyone including people coming in late, loud floorboards, doors that all slam shut and outside pub music that was very loud next door. I will not be staying again, the pictures in the websites are not accurate and the original frontage is next door empty, overall we didnt get to relax or sleep much, the only plus is the location ad across the road from beach, could be such a lovely hotel but alot needs to be fixed updated.

The welcoming staff and the convenient location made our stay in Weymouth perfect. We often popped back during the day for half an hour. We went for a double room with a sea view, which was clean, light and spacious. Would definitely return.

First time we have stayed in this hotel which is situated on the esplanade. The room we stayed in had been recently decorated and had everything you needed. Shower took a long time to get hot and was a little weak, beds were large singles in the twin rooms and very comfortable. The rooms were also quite large by today's slandered. Nice bar which stayed open quite late and doubled as a breakfast lounge for the morning. Breakfast was freshly cooked , and dining out the front looking at the sea was no problem for the very helpful staff
