About The Tides Inn
King Street puts The Tides Inn within easy reach of Weymouth's coastal attractions, with walking and cycling routes nearby and golf, fishing and watersports all on the doorstep for those wanting to get out on the water or the greens. Pubs, restaurants and other eateries line the surrounding streets, and entertainment options are close by for evenings out beyond the hotel itself.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks available in-room, and some enjoy sea views over the town. Family rooms are available, and pets are welcome, making it a practical base for a range of travellers. Free WiFi, 24 hour reception and luggage storage cover the basics, while outdoor seating gives an option to sit outside when the weather allows.
Downstairs, the bar is the heart of the place, known for showing sport and playing music, with staff and drink prices generally well regarded by those who stay. It has the feel of a proper local pub, though that does mean the atmosphere can get lively, and it won't suit everyone looking for a quiet night. For those happy to take the pub-hotel setup as part of the package, it offers a sociable, central spot to explore Weymouth from.

What guests say
Really handy location right near the station and sea front. Staff were great here as we hit horrendous train delays and we kept in touch with them they were great at reassuring us we'd be fine as our arrival time seemed to get later and later. We attended the sea food festival and forgot we hadn't fridge facilities they were great at storing any purchases for us and our luggage before we travelled home.

Popped in for 15 mins to see Harry Kane score twice and get England's World Cup team out of a hole. An elderly drunk at the bar was being warned he was only being allowed "one more." Probably because he was abusing other customers like me. He didn't like football. It may be better on other days, but on this day it was a real dive. Once was enough.

The rooms are clean and close to the sea. The rooms are above the bar, so you can hear the noise from the bar patrons. I didn't have a problem because I'm a heavy sleeper, but my husband is a light sleeper and everything woke him up. The area is beautiful. I'll go there again someday.

I have pasted many a time. Decided to pop in one Saturday afternoon. Not a bad pub. Was busy enough. Service was good. Drinks fair priced and has the pool table and such. Close to the train station and seafront.
