It's such a beautiful building in a peaceful, picturesque village location. The rooms are lovely and clean and are serviced every day. The food in both the bar area and the dining room is varied, well presented and tasty. All of the staff are wonderful, attentive and do everything with a smile. Nothing is too much trouble. I original booked for a couple of nights bed and breakfast but loved it so much that I booked an additional night! I can't wait to go back again! Thankyou all for making my solo break a wonderful and peaceful experience 😊

Thoroughly enjoyed a very relaxing stay at The Mallyan Spout hotel last night. Very friendly welcome and check in, lovely room, friendly staff in the bar and restaurant and the food was delicious. We opted to eat our evening meal in the front lounge which was spacious and quiet and gave us a choice of menus, with the courses being perfe tly timed - not rushed but not waiting too long either. And breakfast this morning was excellent!! Combining this with a walk to the waterfall and along to Beck Hole after checking in yesterday we came away feeling relaxed and refreshed. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

Stayed for 2 nights over weekend. All staff friendly and approachable. Breakfast cooked well and very good selection. Rooms clean and recently refurbished or well maintained. Planning to go back this winter.

We have just returned from a 4 night visit to Goathland, staying at the Mallyan Spout Hotel. On checking in we were greeted by friendly staff who helped us with our luggage to our top floor room. There are plenty of public areas to relax in, a friendly bar, great food and great service. The location is perfect not only for Heartbeat fans, but anyone who wants to explore the local countryside and the Yorkshire Moors. Would totally recommend.
