Fantastic hotel in every way. My room was huge and very comfortable, with amazing views. The breakfast was excellent - I had the kippers which were perfectly cooked. And, since I had to leave very early on the last morning, the staff very kindly made me a breakfast to take with me! The location is also great, ideal for coastal walks to the west of Whitby. Highly recommended.

Rooms are very clean I liked the skylight. Food well very fresh cooked to order so bit longer on the waiting. Views are fantastic of cliffs sea golf course staff very polite friendly breakfast was a very good choice in general food is big portions with quality. It's 10mins walk to the sea 30 mini walk to Whitby town centre definitely recommend the whitehouse inn coffe was proper coffee. Beer garden has brilliant views thankyou to all the staff and the owners for our 4 year anniversary stay Garry Jane Coventry

Amazing view of the sea and cliffs. A short 20 min walk along the cliffs into Whitby. We stayed in an annex room which was lovely and clean. The only downside was that there was no plug for my fiancée to use her hairdryer infront of the mirror ( plugs underneath asked not to be removed ) Other than that no complaints. Our condiments were topped up while out. The hosts were charming and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed in the dog friendly annex, very good accommodation, value for money, breakfast included very good, staff very friendly and helpful,great beer garden , overall location of hotel is great ,we will be going again. Only thing that I would recommend is that the bathroom doors have the doorknobs replaced by handle's, if you have wet hands or poor grip door knobs can be hard to turn, this is not in any way a complaint but a recommendation.
