The Wheeldale

About The Wheeldale

For couples after a quiet coastal break rather than a family-friendly resort stay, The Wheeldale offers adults-only accommodation on North Promenade in Whitby. The position gives easy access to the town's coastal attractions, including the walk up to Whitby Abbey, and free on-site parking means you can leave the car and explore on foot.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks available to enjoy in your room, and sea views over the promenade. Breakfast is included, free WiFi covers the property, and staff are on hand at all hours via 24 hour reception.

Whitby's pubs, restaurants and eateries are all within easy reach, along with entertainment and walking areas nearby, and those wanting more active pursuits will find golf and fishing nearby too. It's a straightforward base for a seaside stay, well placed for wandering the town and its clifftop history.
