The North Promenade runs along Whitby's seafront, and it's here that The Seacliffe looks straight out over the water towards the town's historic sites. Beyond the hotel, Whitby offers walking and cycling routes along the coast and countryside, fishing and watersports nearby, and a choice of pubs, restaurants and entertainment within easy reach, along with a nearby golf course for those wanting to venture further afield.

John my husband and i spent a couple of nights in Seacluffe hotel. Is clean and breakfast was good. The roim we had was good for 2 old dears. No lifts managed. The gentlemen on thr front desk was polite and so as the boss. I will recommsnd this place . Parking we were given scratch card. Thanks . There is a chinese restaurant not far away it was good. THANKS TO THE COOK AND THR WAITERIT WAS ALL GOOD. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. GREAT.

Just returned from here, we stayed there as part of a school residential visit. The rooms are great, comfy, clean and well presented. For the school kids the rooms are made more basic, which is fantastic. But for us adults there are as if you book for standard stays. Great work team

Good location... First impression of the room was OK but was a lack of attention to detail... Some basic cleaning had been missed.. Half used toilet roll and a quarter box of tissues obviously from previous guest... Room should have been set ready for next guest as if nobody had previously been in it... Tea tray was very basic with one packet of biscuits for two people... Did not agree with the 5% service charge added to the bill for drinks and a meal when actually staying there.. Drink prices were expensive enough.. Parking was on the road at the front of the hotel and given a scratchcard for free parking that was a bonus but don't move your car because you'd need to try and find another space. Sometimes further down the road.. It was a busy weekend.... Unfortunately we would not recommend. Definitely not value for money....

Booked for two nights Friday and Saturday. Fantastic time away. Hotel was very clean, and very peaceful. Wonderful view out to the sea. Staff were very attentive and pleasant. Breakfast plentiful and very nice.
