The Old Dairy is a single-bedroom conversion on Wood Street Farm, a working property with sheep and horses near Swindon in Wiltshire. Everything is on the ground floor: a combined living and dining space with a 49-inch Smart TV and wood burner, a kitchen with electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and washer-dryer, and a bedroom with a super kingsize bed and ensuite shower. The space has underfloor heating throughout, and logs for the burner are supplied to start with. WiFi, bed linen, towels and electricity are included.
Royal Wootton Bassett, a market town with pubs and shops, is three miles away. The location works well for exploring Wiltshire's archaeological sites—Stonehenge, Avebury and Silbury Hill are within reach—as well as Lacock Abbey, Bowood House and the Cotswold Water Park. The M4 is close by for trips further afield to Bath, Bristol or Oxford. There is parking for two cars on site, and a sitting-out area with garden furniture. The property is for non-smokers.

The cottage was clean, warm and nicely decorated. We appreciated the generosity of our hosts with the provided bath toiletries and the home baked flapjacks. Highly recommended.

Daughter stayed here and really liked it. The Old Dairy is available on Air BnB. We visited and helped them light the lig burner. Very friendly host who runs the farm.

Our third stay at this beautiful property. It never fails to deliver just what we want - a retreat from this crazy world! Spotlessly clean, extremely comfortably furnished and peaceful. Jackie and John are the perfect hosts - there when you need them but leave you to it the rest of the time. Always such a welcome too with the essentials - milk and prosecco - in the fridge and flapjack in the tin! Can't wait to visit again. 🙂
