From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, our stay at this beautiful spa hotel was truly memorable and incredibly relaxing. The hotel is perfectly located close to Windsor Park, and the interiors are absolutely stunning. The spa facilities are excellent, offering a wide range of treatments, with a special mention for the heated outdoor pool, which was a real highlight. We also dined at Il Giardino restaurant and enjoyed the best Italian dinner we have had in a long time. To top it all off, the hotel bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in — it felt like sleeping on a cloud. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return.

A Disappointing Stay — Falls Well Short of Its Price Point We stayed for several nights and had high hopes for the hotel, but left thoroughly underwhelmed of the experience. The most telling moment came during afternoon tea. We had noted in our booking that this was a birthday celebration. Despite arriving to find the tea room almost empty, we waited for over forty minutes before a single plate of sandwiches arrived, which were prepared in advance anyway.The staff were indifferent to us to say the least, wondering around the corner of the room, instead of attending to guests. We were simply left to sit and wait. Dining options more broadly were limited. The only substantive restaurant is a fine dining Italian, which needs pre-booking and leaves little flexibility for those wanting something more casual. The bar food menu exists as an alternative, but service there was equally slow. The spa was frustrating, particularly at weekends. Sun loungers and deck chairs were entirely unavailable, and the space was dominated by children in the pool, hardly the restorative environment one would expect. For what this hotel charges, the standard of service is simply not there. A property at this price point should be defined by attentiveness and quiet confidence; instead, it felt indifferent at best. We would not return, and would struggle to recommend it to others.

Checked out on 14th July and what a sensational place. Me and my partner went for a romantic short break and it didn’t disappoint the spa is pure luxury, high end can't get any better. Dinner was absolutely divine in the WD. Service Amazing. Special mention to Connor at reception such a pleasant gentlemen really took good care of us, showed genuine interest and care in my partners and my stay and he's got a lovely smile, which everyone should have he's a model to other staff. I will definitely return in the future
