What visitors say
We’ve just returned from a fantastic camping trip, and our group of 15 had the best time! From the moment we arrived, Richard and his family made us feel so welcome and were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The animals are clearly very well looked after and are so friendly, which made the experience even more special. The campsite is spacious, so we never felt crowded, and all of the children felt completely safe and had the freedom to explore and enjoy themselves. The facilities were excellent, with clean, well-maintained washing and toilet areas. Everything was thoughtfully cared for, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. A huge thank you to Richard and his family for such a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend this campsite and can't wait to visit again

We recently stayed at Longthorns Farm Campsite and had a fantastic holiday. The campsite has a lovely family-run atmosphere, and all of the staff we met were friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The location is excellent, the site is well laid out, and we really enjoyed our stay. The only area that let the site down was the toilet and shower block. During our visit, it didn't seem to be cleaned frequently enough, with bins often overflowing and toilet roll regularly running out. The facilities also appeared to need a deeper clean and some maintenance. A few of the showers produced water in a cone-shaped spray, which made washing long hair quite difficult, and there was no way to adjust the water temperature or pressure. Despite these issues, we genuinely loved the campsite and they did not detract from what was otherwise a wonderful stay. The friendly atmosphere, helpful staff and overall experience more than made up for the shortcomings in the facilities. We are already looking forward to returning and would highly recommend Longthorns Farm Campsite to anyone looking for a welcoming and enjoyable place to stay in Dorset.

We had a fantastic stay at Longthorns Farm and couldn't recommend it highly enough. A huge thank you to Rich and his team, who went above and beyond to help us. I'd accidentally booked the wrong dates, but despite it being at very short notice, they managed to squeeze us in and couldn't have been more accommodating. That level of customer service really set the tone for our stay. The campsite itself is in a brilliant location. It's just a short drive from Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, making it an ideal base for exploring the Jurassic Coast. There are also plenty of interesting places to visit inland, so there's no shortage of things to do in the area. The site is well looked after, has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, and it's clear that Rich and the team genuinely care about their guests having a great experience. We'll definitely be back, and I'd happily recommend Longthorns Farm to anyone looking for a great campsite in Dorset.

Had an amazing stay here during a trip to Tankfest 2026 with my son! It’s the perfect location if you're visiting The Tank Museum or Monkey World. We stayed in our campervan on an electric hook-up pitch. The facilities were excellent—the toilet block was clean, the on-site shop was well-stocked, and the bar was great. There was also a baked potato trailer during our stay, which served up some seriously delicious food. The owners are incredibly helpful and chatty, contributing to a brilliantly relaxed, family-friendly vibe. My son absolutely loved feeding the animals, too. We had a fantastic weekend and made some lasting memories. Highly recommend!
