What guests say
What an amazing place. From walking in, the staff member who checked us in was delightful. Parking was easy and convenient. The wine, cocktails and share platter were fantastic. The room was superb with the usual amenities, including a gun safe (for visitors to the nearby Bisley ranges). Finally the breakfast was perhaps the best we've ever had in any hotel, absolutely amazing, with again superb service. This place is right up there as one of the nicest places we've ever stayed in. Can't wait to stay again, we've already booked in for next month as we'll be visiting relatives who live nearby. 100% recommended

Room was not cleaned properly, poo stains in toilet, filthy plugs, dirt on shower floor...basically needed cleaning by a professional cleaner as it was obvious it had not been. Room was very hot & stuffy, windows only open a small way & the supplied fan in the room was ancient & filthy & dint really push any air, a decent modern fan can be bought cheaply. Room was decorated nice, unfortunately it was quite noisey up untill about half 10 with kids and dogs barking as it faces onto the beer garden. The bar (which could not be sat in due to decorating) served me a only just about cold lager which cost £7.10p, paying a premium for a drink at least serve it at the right temperature...Oh and it came with some paper floating in the bottom of it too! I skipped breakfast & left early, far too warm in room too sleep properly & I didn't really fancy the food based on the hygiene level of the rest of my experience.

Stopped off for a quick cup of coffee and ended up having a sausage bap and a flat white. The coffee was super hot which was great and lasted until I had finished my Cumberland sausage bap. The food was great, service was exceptional and came really well presented. Highly recommended for breakfast.

Was attending the Ascot races and found this quaint inn 20 minutes away. Located in a quiet area, easy to find. The pub is in the front and the rooms were tucked away in the back and away from noise. Rooms were a decent size and clean. Staff were attentive. Restaurant menu good and more extensive than typical pub food.
