About Low Farm Campsite
With easy access from the A12 and A14, Low Farm Campsite offers 12 peaceful acres in the Suffolk & Essex Coast & Heaths National Landscape. The owners are gradually returning their farmland to nature, and the camping areas reflect that ethos – pitches are generously spaced so you never feel cramped, even when the site is full. It's an adults-only setup with just the essentials: showers, toilets, washing-up facilities and chemical disposal, plus ice-pack freezing and recycling. Dogs are welcome year-round (on leads on site), and both barbecues and campfires are allowed.
The River Deben is an easy walk away, with a river beach and boat trips available, while a couple of good pubs are also within strolling distance. Woodbridge is a 10-minute drive for shops and restaurants, Ipswich 20 minutes. The site can feel a little rough underfoot in places – expect gravel or loose mud rather than manicured grass – but for those after a simple, wildlife-rich escape, it's hard to beat.

What visitors say
Really nice spacious site with some nice pitches amongst trees and bushes. Good facilities all clean and very smart. If you don't need electric hook up the wild camping pitches towards the back of the site are particularly bgoid even if you are towing a larger caravan or in a larger motorhome. It is a 15 minute walk to Waldringfidld Quay on the River Deben with the Maybush Inn overlooking the river.

Its a nice little site, very clean facilities , toilets showers, washing up areas. Adults only, so very peaceful too. I was disappointed that some pitches were on sandy/dried mud . And also there was nowhere to let the dog off for a run. The pub is a long way from the site( depending on your point of view)on foot and walking is dangerous with no footpaths although I did find an alternative route by the river after some exploring.

Yet another relaxing weekend break at Low farm. Lovely walk along the river Deben to the Maybush pub or a countryside walk to the Fox . Beautifully kept grounds yet very natural surroundings. Toilet block is immaculately clean and the new shower block is fantastic. Thank you Jennifer and Jack.
