About Moon and Sixpence Holiday Park
The Moon and Sixpence occupies wooded parkland at Waldringfield, a short walk from the River Deben and a few miles inland from Woodbridge. This is a five-pennant AA park with around 50 touring pitches set among a larger holiday-home community, which keeps the touring field noticeably quieter than many commercial sites. Pitches are generous, with electric hook-up and hardstanding available, though it's worth confirming touring availability in advance as the park prioritises owner-occupiers.
Facilities are the real draw. A Norwegian-style cabin with a grass roof houses individual shower and toilet cubicles rather than communal washrooms, plus mother-and-baby rooms and well-equipped accessible facilities. Outside, there's an unusual amount of ground given over to recreation: a private lake with sandy beach, nine-hole golf course, three tennis courts, bowling green, basketball and volleyball courts, and two adventure playgrounds. Dogs are welcome on leads.
The location works well for Sutton Hoo, Woodbridge, Orford and the Deben estuary, with Aldeburgh half an hour up the coast. Best suited to families with younger children who want plenty to do on site.

Just had our first visit to the Moon and Sixpence....definitely not our last visit. Such a lovely well kept site with wonderful grounds and nice welcoming staff. We stayed on the adult only pitches over looking the lake in our 7.5m motorhome. Such a pretty pitch however looking around we would be happy to stay on so many other pitches. All really nice.Theres plenty of facilities...they are slightly dated but they are clean. Now to the bar. The staff were lovely and the entertainnent was so much fun. Good old fashioned games with bingo and quizzes...we loved it. Thanks Simon and staff. The bar food was really good too and the bar was very dog friendly. We walked into Woodbridge with our dog one day and then to the Maybush Inn. Around 50 mins with a short road walk and footpaths for both.

Absolutely loved this campsite! All the staff were so nice and it is well maintained. Never change because it was fantastic cleanest facilities I’ve seen.

Excellent site been here twice now and going back this weekend. 100% rate this place. Staff brilliant on site pub great lots to do or just chill.

Second time staying here in our caravan. It's a beautiful site, lovely spacious pitches, nice clean toilet block. Staff are really helpful and friendly. You don't have to check out till you're ready, you can stay on all day if you want! Club house is very friendly too! It's a little gem of a site!
