Station Guest House is a small, family-run bed and breakfast on Station Road, a few minutes' walk from Woodbridge town centre and directly opposite the railway station. It offers just three en-suite rooms, a family room, a twin and a king, each making the most of stunning views over the River Deben.
Rooms are simply furnished with freeview television, complimentary tea and coffee and free wi-fi, and the adjoining Whistle Stop Cafe, open five days a week, serves breakfast, lunches, sandwiches and cakes to both guests and passers-by.
The location is particularly convenient for anyone arriving by train or heading out early to Sutton Hoo, with the town centre, quay and Tide Mill all within easy walking distance, and the small scale of the guest house giving it a genuinely personal, quiet feel compared with the town's larger hotels.

What a wonderful guest house. Some people are just the perfect fit for hospitality and owner, Carla, is clearly one of them. We stayed two nights and both days we had breakfast in the cafe which was always busy. Despite being so busy, Carla was friendly, attentive and never once looked stressed or made you feel like anything was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this guest house and the attached cafe if you are ever in Woodbridge.

What a fantastic place to stay. We came by car, but next time (and there will definitely be a next time) we will come by train, as it is in the actual station building. The cafe downstairs, where breakfast is served, is absolutely wonderful and the staff couldn't be friendlier. The room was super-comfortable with a great view. Thoroughly recommended - and we will definitely be back.
