What visitors say
Lovely gardens, especially the cottage garden ✨. Generally a lovely day out for all ages. The gardens are quite vast, but staged in a way that provides loads of ideas you can take back to your own garden. They have good labelling, that can help you decide which plants go where. The garden shop has good reasonably priced plants and helpful staff. There is also a good choice of places to eat. The portions are rather large, great for sharing. Lots of parking a short walk away from everything. It was a pretty dull day weather-wise on the day we went but not cold and still the gardens were very beautiful.

Beautiful and varied gardens that are relaxing, inspiring, educational and just lovely to wander around. I'm sure everyone will have their favourite areas and of course it will be changing with the seasons. The cafes are good and reasonably priced and most people are going to buy a plant (or bigger) from the garden centre on their way out. We'll be going again little later in the year to see (and smell) the the gardens in the summer and then a little later in the autumn - or any time we just want a little break from everything else.

Beautiful, natural gardens. Really impressed with the coffee too! Loved that the gardens weren't pruned to within an inch of their lives, and the natural borders, grassy paths and open spaces to wander and explore invited you into every nook and cranny, with ample hidden benches and seating areas for you to take a minute. Thoroughly enjoyed wandering around for hours, and especially liked the large pond with cafe next to it near the dry garden. 100% would recommend a visit for singles, couples, families and whoever else wants to enjoy being surrounded by nature for a few hours! Large, free parking areas and simple, smooth entry process made arrival and departure quick and easy.

Hyde hall is one of my happy places. Whatever time of the year there's something different in nature to appreciate. Plus there's always something going on for the kids. I could share a million photos of this place but I won't spoil everything ☺️ the cafes are lovely, always good food if a little pricey, but options for picnics too. And all the staff are friendly and helpful.
