Wrexham is well positioned for exploring North Wales and the English border country. Within a mile or two are a leisure centre, shops and a pub, while the Vale of Llangollen and riverside walks are nearby. Chirk Castle and Erddig Hall, both National Trust properties, lie within 4 miles; Chester is 20 minutes' drive away.
Harvest Cottage is a renovated 18th-century property on the edge of its owner's grounds, with its own walled terrace and herb garden. It sleeps two in a four-poster double bedroom on the first floor. Downstairs there is a living and dining room with a woodburner and television, plus a kitchen equipped for proper cooking with an electric oven and hob. The bathroom has a bath with shower attachment. Bed linen, towels and wifi are included, along with heating and an initial £7 of electricity; there is a shared washing machine in an external utility room. Outside, a private parking space and an enclosed terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue overlook the paddock. No smoking inside.
